Art and design have always played a significant role in my upbringing. I was surrounded by a diverse family of teachers, musicians, designers, painters, and architects. It is no surprise that I ended up becoming a creative director and designer. Despite choosing to pursue a degree in Marketing and Advertising, my passion for aesthetics remained strong even before I graduated.
At the age of 21, I took the bold step of opening my own interior design store called SaLA Design. To further nurture this passion, I enrolled in various courses at Parsons School of Design, such as product design, home furnishings drawings, and others.
By creating my own designs and representing other talented designers, I have had the privilege of being invited to participate in significant events such as the São Paulo Design Weekend (the largest design fair and event in South America) and the "Le Brésil Rive Gauche" Exposition at Le Bon Marché in Paris, France.
Furthermore, my brand has provided me with opportunities to design and sell products wholesale. This led me to work with Westwing Home and Living—a multinational company founded by Delia Fischer who previously served as an editor for Elle and Elle Decor. With operations spanning across 11 European countries as well as Brazil—Westwing Home and Living has been an incredible platform for showcasing my designs.
My goal has always been to use design as a means of connecting individuals with art. I am dedicated to bridging the gap between art and consumers, promoting both emerging and established artists and designers at an affordable price, and emphasizing the importance of beauty in everyday life. These principles have guided me in curating numerous significant art exhibitions in São Paulo, Brazil. These exhibitions showcased a blend of established and emerging artists while consistently allocating a portion of the proceeds to NGOs.
It was a great honor to have my brand chosen by Helen Kupfer Haas, the curator of the exhibition, and Frédéric Bodenes, the art director of Bon Marché, to take part in the Le Brésil Rive Gauche Exhibition and to attend the opening party. Merci, Bon Marché.

Participating in the Design Weekend Sao Paulo, the biggest design event in South America, was a truly remarkable experience. The process of curating the designers who would take part, organizing the artistic installation on the store's facade, and planning engaging activities for the public throughout the weekend was incredibly fulfilling. Among the guest designers were Roberta Rampazzo and Fernando Nacarato, who had already participated in Milan Design Week, as well as Gustavo Dias. I have always admired Roberta as a personal friend, and it was a joy to witness her launch her Illusion table during this event. Shortly after its debut, she received the prestigious A'Award and Competition for the Illusion Table, just one of many accolades she has since earned. Words cannot express how thrilled I am for her and her immense talent. Click here to get to know her work.
